Cape Town woke up to the sight of this today

In Sea Point this morning, residents woke up to see the artistic work of Michael Elion, The Madiba Ray Bans, completely vandalised. Many messages can be seen on the sculpture, one of which related to the Marikana Massacre in 2012.
This is what it used to look like.
It's just sad to see what is happening in the City of Cape Town.
